The Greatest City On Earth
What an eventful week this was!
I've been a huge fan of Jimmy Fallon for a long time, and my wonderful husband was able to score tickets just in time for Christmas! Being in the audience for the live taping was tons of fun, and seeing Jimmy Fallon in person was like a dream come true. The guests were actors Kristen Stewart and Michael Shannon, with a special guest performance by Cage the Elephant. The absolute BEST part was when Jimmy went into the audience and gave everyone high-fives at the end of the show. I was lucky enough to have an aisle seat, so I got a high-five! It. Was. Awesome.
As if that weren't enough excitement for the week, last night, I got to see Chris Botti perform at Blue Note, New York City's premier jazz club. He played with such beauty and musical expression, and he had a great sense of humor. It was a fantastic show, and I highly recommend you try to see him at some point!
The fun and entertainment in this city just doesn't end. No wonder people call New York City the greatest city in the world (and the city that never sleeps!).
